Get Session Status and Results
GET/api/v1/verifier/sessions/:sessionId
Polls the current status and verification results for a session. Verifiers can only access their own sessions.
| State | Terminal? | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
pending | No | Waiting for holder to present credentials |
completed | Yes | Holder presented credentials and verification passed |
failed | Yes | Verification failed — check failureReason |
On completed, the response includes credentialData (extracted claims) and verificationResult (detailed check results). On failed, failureReason explains why.
Always check the full verificationResult before granting access: signatureValid, issuerTrusted, policyCompliant, and revocationStatus !== "revoked". See Security Best Practices.
